a SMILE in your pocket
Some songs are great because of the other things that they make you think of. Rocket by Yellowcard is one of those for me. The words, "I slip another smile in your pocket" hits me..... I SO enjoy the people and the experiences that I have had that have been a smile in my pocket, those times in Waterton, the many Rook games, and the night games, the laughter and the late night talks, the hugs, and lessons learned from the gospel, and especially the people. I hope that I have given out sufficient smiles, that to those I love for and care for I have "race[d] to like a rocket"

Trust in the Lord
Last night I came in and was frustrated with the fact that again I had to do dishes that desperately needed to be done. Jess was in the kitchen doing her Old Testament homework and asked a simple question that led to a very thought provoking conversation. I learned so much about her, about her struggles and the life that she has lived through. It was nice to look at my own struggles and see what it is that needs to change so that my life can improve. Between the both of us the consensus that we came to was that we need to put OUR TRUST in the Lord, and remember ALWAYS that we ARE a child of God. After talking with her I couldn't put my mind to rest, I continued thinking, thought more about it last night, and it has carried with me all morning..... That is what it is, we need to trust the Lord. If we trust what the Lord has in store for us and do not doubt His plan then we have no need to fear, no need to put up unnecessary walls, or to tear down existing foundations that have been built upon the teachings of Christ by our family, teachers, friends, and even ourselves. We trust the Lord, take use of the atonement, and carry on with our lives the best we can, never ceasing to DO those simple things that bring true happiness into our lives: reading the scriptures, going to the temple, saying our prayers, going to church, taking care of our bodies through a healthy lifestyle, always loving and caring no matter what the circumstance, being humble, and being there for others. I KNOW that I AM A CHILD OF GOD. I can do whatever it is that the Lord asks of me. AND HE LOVES ME, and trusts me and wants what is best for me, and because of this I know that all is going to work out if I but give myself over to Him. He will not drop me, He will carry me and surround me in the arms of His love.

starting new
YAY! (and look, I can even spell it!)
Well, it is time to start anew, blogger wanted me to... with my gmail account, and with other events, it was just becoming time to do so.
Well, I have three more months of school, and then SUMMER... that isn't too bad, and after another month or so things are going to be changed up enough that I think that all is well. Me... well, life has changed, I need to find my passions and goals, and work towards something besides 'the end' because that isn't good enough. But I have found new determination to do well in school, even though it is VERY hard and I am skipping up a lot. And that was a scholarship for Spring term, how lucky am I?!? Basically very....
I am going to be running twice a week now that it has warmed up a bit, and I am excited for that. (thank you for spring, even though I don't like the wardrobe as well in it) And those are my thoughts for now, the end.
