Which Disney Princess are you?

You are part Jasmine. You are loyal and would visit the ends of the earth for what you believe. You would never let obstacles stand in the way of true love.
You are part Cinderella. You are hard-working and never complain, however, your trust is sometimes misplaced and people sometimes take advantage of you. Still, you are beautiful inside and out, and one day you will realize it and find true love.

Bad Day

What turns a day bad? Is it your decision, or all the events that happened in it? Or a combination of both? Well, emotions play a huge role in it, support plays a huge role in it, and what needs to be accomplished and what GETS accomplished play a huge role in it. But you know what? When all is said and done, and you drive home, and listen to great EFY music, and remember the real meaning in life it helps to get you back on path and to make your day a little bit better. That is my suggestion to all of you (and me).

Feelings

Amazing how your mind can go from one moment in a teasing mode to the next in defense and hurt. And how you could find the excuses to blame all those around you, but in the end realize that it is your own fault for over reacting. I guess all we can and should do is to remember the council of 3 Ne 11:28 and 29.
I don't know, I have watched as my family has been walked over by others throughout the years, and am torn between how it is that we are supposed to forgive and not be walked over again. We had a lesson on forgiveness in RS a few weeks ago about this and well, I wasn't content with the response I don't understand how it is that we are supposed to be able to do one without neglecting the other. And well, I have always thought that forgiving is more important than not being stepped on, and that is what it is we are supposed to learn all our lives about forgiveness, but maybe not. When you put in a BIG sinario such as abuse and try to learn this lesson, you KNOW that the victim HAS to get out of there and HAS to make it so that they are not in that position, and THEN they need to forgive. But how do you get out when it is the people that you love, how is it that you defend yourself against something that maybe isn't meant to hurt, how do you still maintain those relationships that are necessary for happiness and progression?
I have no answers today, just lots of questions. I guess I will have to learn this one through each experience that I have. And for now I can only take the 'evidences' that I have taken part of, and know that I need to relax and not take as much offense. I guess I have some of Dad in me because I am thinking like him and well, in all the accounts that I can recall I have removed myself from the situation. Anyways....
I love you all, miss you all, and hope that all is well.

SLEEP

SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP.... where does it go?? Where can I get it?

Well, my goal for today was to take a nap, I didn't succeed, didn't even come close to it. And I didn't get done as much as I would have liked to, I guess that is how all of life works, everything takes longer then expected. WELL, I would like to sleep, so good night.

SMILES

You know, sometimes you have those days that just aren't as great of others - things didn't work out the way that they should have, you make due, but it could have been better. BUT then someone makes an effort in your behalf and it changes everything around. They would never know that they made a difference in your day, and consequently in your life, but they did. Their effort to call you and say hi, their effort to let you know that you care to them - it makes a world of difference. It puts a smile on your face and it makes the day bearable.
- Thank you Joey for doing that for me today... and every day.

Update

I figured that I should let you know how my life is playing out right now. I survived finals for a second time, believe it or not. Had a 6 day break which I filled with family and friends and games. But it didn't take long and I was back to the grind of studying. I am living at home and going to Spring term, taking two classes: a Chem Lab and Physics. You would think with only two classes that I would be able to relax and would have time to spare, but believe it or not, the fast pace of the term is keeping me plenty busy. Each week my time is allotted to school, homework, doing things for/with my parents, piano lessons, and spending time with my family and the Finley's. Then I sleep, wake up, and do it all again the next week. But it is fun, I have enjoyed it. I enjoy being back at home, life is different, but it is good, and as always there are new things to learn and experiences to grow from. I trust that all is well with you all. Happy Mother's Day.

My SISTERS

This past week both of my sisters had their birthdays. And I just wanted to thank them for being my heroes, for being such wonderful examples to me, and for being my friend. I love them. Happy Birthday to the both of you!

Physics

I walk into my first Physics course at college, and I notice that there are only three other girls in the room... kinda daunting. As more people trickle into class the total goes up from 4 to 7, but I am DEFINITELY outnumbered, it isn't a 16 people class. (There has to be at least 40 guys in there) Well, then Dr. Allred comes in (apparently I have had a conversation with him at Julia's wedding, but did not know this until I talked with Dad tonight at dinner), throws us our syllybi and tells us that for the majority of the time that Dr. Mills will be teaching us, but that he is still the instructor. Well, there you go. So our lecture is given, it is very engaging, but VERY simplistic, yet the course material is all based on calculus.... I hope that it comes back quickly. As I am reading the material for the course calculus reasoning slowly creeps into mind, but it is more that I don't remember everything that I know I should know (I guess: the more you know the more you know you don't know) and here I am not wanting to start my homework, but knowing that I should.
