title

title: what is a title - is it something the defines what is to come, or is it something on its own, a distinct entity by itself that gives its own message?

I was thinking about this as I came to my blog tonight to see if anyone had commented on what I had to say, and realized that most of the time when I write on here I am just commenting on the events that have recently occurred, and I rarely share my actual emotions, on how I see life, how events look to me. Yet my blog is titled "life through the eyes of Emily"
Does this mean that I am a poor writer or that my reservation is how I see life, or is it a completely different thought?
I think I have played a trick on myself because I do not know the answer, and I am the author - maybe now I'll qualify to be a modern artist (jab)
