REading
I love reading, I have since I was little, I remember first reading so that I could stay up later, or at least that was one of the reasons. I remember sitting on my sleigh bed (I loved that bed) and reading SO many books. My nephew, Court, he reminds me of that, being able to go through a good book in no time at all and enjoying every minute of it. Well, being on vacation and having down time while driving and on airplanes has been frustrating, so while in Iowa I picked up a book "Hold Tight" by Harlan Coben. Well, I picked it up on the 28th, read just a bit because we were busy, then yesterday and today we were traveling awhile and I had a lot of time to read, and well, it is done. I don't know if I would categorize it as "virtuous, lovely, or of good report" or at least I wouldn't say that about the first half of it, yet the book was a grabber and very well written. I liked how it was written from... well, I don't even know how many, but MANY perspectives, yet not overdone. I would say it would definitely be rated PG-13 if it was a movie.... would I recommend it: if you are in for a murder mystery and having it feel like it could be in your neighborhood then yes. I felt like once you got past the tragedies that there were some thought provoking and good things to learn from in it. O.k, there you go. If you have a good, uplifting book to suggest to me, please let me know.
