Home Sweet Home

So, I just wanted to point out the fact that my room normally looks like this (minus the flowers) but I love my cute quilt, and my "e," and the pictures and quotes I have on my wall, I love the ribbons, and the pictures, and the new blinds and light, and I love that it is usually clean, looking like this.... yes I know that my desk is not as clean as it could be, but for the most part, I do pretty well, and I love it. Doesn't it look so inviting :) and while looking at my room, you should notice the popsicle cabin on my shelf, proof that even life's happenings occur. Mostly, I think that I love that I feel safe here, it has taken awhile for me to feel comfortable anywhere but my home, and those places I knew growing up. But I do, I feel safe here, I know that I can feel the spirit here, and that I can be productive, and that it is fun here too. I love kneeling on the floor and having apartment prayer, I love sitting at my desk and catching up with the lives of those I love as I read their blogs. It has become my home sweet home.

I haven't see your room like this yet. I guess I need to get down there.
When I think of what makes me feel at home, it comes down to the spirit. If I feel the spirit the moments I need it, I feel comfortable.
I think your roommates deserve some credit here too, because if you didn't feel there love, you wouldn't like it as much either.

I agree, I should have mentioned that they have made it so feel like a haven for me, that I can talk to them about anything, and I know that they will love me no matter what.

that's actually really cool to see your space! So cute! You keep your room cleaner then I do mine! I know that when I moved away from home it took me FOREVER to call my little apartment home. Then when we moved here too- it took awhile. I think that part of it just comes down to change... it's hard to adjust to sometimes!

I love it! Makes me want to curl up on your bed and take a nap like old times. Hang in there girl and tell April she used the wrong "there."
